Is BidTrainer really free?
Yes. All modules are and will remain free for every player. Contributing is voluntary: a cappuccino a month already helps. For anything extra a club wants, we agree on terms together.
Do I need an account?
Yes, and it's completely free. With your account you save your system, invite your partner and analyse your own boards. You log in with a code sent by email, no password.
Does it work with our own system?
Yes. You start from a base system you recognise, add conventions from the library and record where you differ. Your own agreements always come first. Coming soon You can also import your own system notes; after that you only need to check and adjust.
I have just started bridge. Is this for me?
Definitely. Start with Kickstart: short lessons from counting points to your first bids, so you can get to the table quickly. No long course. Then use the Home play module too: you bid a board with the support of your system and see what others did on that same board, so you can learn from it.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, on phone, tablet and computer, with large buttons and clear text. The app is available in 26 languages.
Where do the boards come from?
From published results and deals of clubs, federations and tournaments worldwide.
Who can see my data?
Your system, notes and own boards are seen only by you and the people you invite, such as your partner. Results from public sources are public, just as at the federation. You appear on the supporters list only if you choose to. See also our privacy policy.
Can our club take part?
Gladly. We are looking for pilot clubs who want to try out the next steps with us. Read more for clubs.
Which languages does BidTrainer support?
26 languages. On biedtrainer.nl in Dutch, on bidtrainer.eu in English and the other languages. You choose your language with the button at the top.
Why are there two websites?
It is one app: biedtrainer.nl for Dutch speakers and bidtrainer.eu, as BidTrainer, for the rest of the world. The same boards and the same features; only the language differs.
How do I stop my monthly contribution?
With the personal stop link you get after your first payment, in your account under Support us, or through your bank. Lost it? Email [email protected]. You can stop at any time, no reason needed.
What do you do with my data?
We only store what is needed: your name, your email address, your system and your boards. Want your account and data deleted? Email [email protected]. Everything is in our privacy policy.
